The Learning Objectives for this course are:

-      Explain the broad impacts and consequences of climate change to the built environment and how those impacts have recently evolved to become more severe.

-      Describe at least three ways that insurance carriers have responded to increased actual or expected losses as a result of climate change.

-      Describe at least five strategies for managing and mitigated climate related risks. 

-      Identify the benefits of attempting to get and stay ahead of future regulation by applying case study examples.
